Growing up I always had a strong passion for animals. As young as age five I had a pet dog named Spooky, and continued having pets throughout my entire childhood. From dogs and cats to parrots and guinea pigs. I started learning to take care of pets from a young age as my aunt Susan with whom I spent many weekends would religiously 'groom' her fur babies every Sunday. She would go through their coats with a fine toothed comb looking for fleas and ticks, brushed them out thoroughly and gave baths as needed….always speaking very lovingly to them.

From day one, I knew I wanted to work to work with animals. At first I considered being a veterinarian, however I quickly discovered that was not my calling as I could not handle the emotional aspect of losing a beloved pet/patient. One day while looking at a dog show on the television as I fondly did very often, I couldn’t help but wonder how they got their dogs to look so amazing. Determined to learn more, I discovered Pet Grooming and immediately knew this is what I wanted to do! PetStar was born. After pursuing multiple grooming courses and experimenting on my pets at home for months, I was finally confident enough.  Petstar was registered and officially opened for business on 17th of May 2012 .  We presently offer a mobile grooming service, catering to all your pet grooming needs in the comfort of your home. We provide a variety of services from baths and trims to paw-dicures and facials; and signature products and accessories.
